5 Gallon Bucket Garden Beds
Straightforward planter beds built to organize a row of bucket planters along the fence line.
These planter beds were built as a straightforward way to organize a row of bucket planters along the fence line.
Construction lumber from the big orange store, milled clean and run through the table saw with shallow dados to add a subtle horizontal profile. The boxes were sized directly around the buckets we planned to plant in, keeping everything tight and modular.
The yard slopes more than it looks, so one end of the long bed sits on a stilt to bring things back to level. Rather than leave that exposed, a smaller companion box was added alongside it, which now holds two additional buckets and visually balances the whole run.
Finished with an exterior stain and left simple.
Built to live outside, get dirty, and do its job.
